I was delighted to attend CARF’s (Citizen and Advice Rights Fife) Celebration Event to mark 20 years anniversary of the service in the Lochgelly Centre.

It was a great afternoon hearing from a range of guest speakers, highlighting the importance of the service which supported over 26,000 people in 2016-17 in Fife.

The organisation provides a vital expert advice service from highly trained staff and volunteers to the Fife community. This advice is delivered for a variety of subjects such as housing, debt advice, money and benefit entitlement and legal issues. The service can also signpost clients to relevant partner organisations who it works closely with, some of those who were in attendance at the event.

I would like to thank everyone at the organisation for their hard work and dedicated contributions to those who need assistance in the local area and extend my best wishes to for continued of success for the future.
